Eight of these meters would fit mounted along the long axis of the meter but it would be a tight fit and you would need to source a longer piece a DIN rail for this mounting orientation.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThis enclosure is not appropriate for the even larger \u003ca href=\"\/products\/ekm-omnimeter-hv-v5\" data-mce-href=\"\/products\/ekm-omnimeter-hv-v5\"\u003eOmnimeter HV v.5\u003c\/a\u003e, for a v5 meter we would recommend you use the \u003ca href=\"https:\/\/ekmmetering.com.au\/products\/watertight-enclosure-with-hinged-and-latching-lid-ul-listed-11-8-x-11-8-x-5-9\"\u003eLarge Outdoor Enclosure\u003c\/a\u003e.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eAn ultraviolet stabilizer has been added to the transparent polycarbonate lid to prevent discoloration when installed outdoors. Even so, we recommend that the enclosure be installed out of direct sunlight to ensure that the enclosure outlasts your meter(s).\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eNEMA 4X rated.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eThe hinge pins and latches are stainless steel to prevent corrosion over time.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCase and lid both have a small hole intended for a \u003ca href=\"\/products\/ekm-tamper-proof-meter-seal\" data-mce-href=\"\/products\/ekm-tamper-proof-meter-seal\"\u003eSeal\u003c\/a\u003e or lock. This is to prevent tampering with the contents of the enclosure after it is installed. (seal or lock not included)\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eHoles for conduit connections need to be made to suit your needs.\u003c\/p\u003e\n\u003cp\u003eCover is gasketed for a water-tight seal. No additional screws are needed for mounting meters. One piece of DIN rail is included for mounting the meter along the short axis of the enclosure.
